About Us

APRIL SOLIEM, APRN, PMHNP-BC

April is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She gained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin and enjoys working with both adult and child/adolescent patients. She specializes in the psychiatric treatment and medication management of ADHD, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders.

April utilizes a holistic and evidence-based approach to mental health care that aims to improve overall wellness. She strives to provide a non-judgmental, person-centered, and collaborative environment where patients feel empowered to make informed decisions regarding their treatment.

Prior to her career in nursing, April worked with middle and high school students with behavioral and academic challenges in the educational setting. As a graduate student, she studied the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on college student mental health and has a special interest in working with this population. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, spending time in nature, and volunteering with animals.
